What Type of Butterflies Can I Release?

We carry Monarchs and Painted Ladies for release throughout the year. Other butterflies we  raise are Red Admirals, Black Swallowtails, along with an assortment of other Pennsylvania butterflies.  Wish Upon A Butterfly carries permits to ship into all 48 states, but not all butterflies can ship into all 48 states.

How Many butterflies should I release?

The amount of butterflies you release depends on what you envision for a butterfly release and your budget. We are available to help you design your special butterfly release that will make your event special.

What temperature can I release the butterflies?

Butterflies can not be released in the winter time, therefore, for a nice release you want the temperatures to be at least 60 degrees for Monarchs and 70 degrees for Painted Ladies.
