Mass Butterfly Release

A mass butterfly release is when all of the butterflies are released at once from one container.

A dvantages of a mass butterfly release:

• Focus is kept on the person doing the butterfly release
• Certain butterfly release boxes can be used as a display
• Accordion butterfly release boxes encourage all of the butterflies to fly at once

T ypes of butterfly release boxes:

• Traditional butterfly release box – is a solid white box.  You cannot see the butterflies inside of the butterfly release box.  The top is decorated with silk flowers and ribbons.
• Display butterfly release box – is a decorated butterfly release box with four screened sides for viewing the butterflies inside.
• Accordion butterfly release box – is a small box with a wide folded ribbon that the butterflies are gently placed between the folds.  The ribbon is attached to the lid so when you open the accordion butterfly release box, the butterflies are encouraged to fly at once.

T he butterflies are not shipped in the butterfly release box (unless you order the accordion butterfly release box).  You must transfer the butterflies into the butterfly release box the day of the butterfly release.

E ach butterfly release box has its own advantages, and they can all be decorated to match the color/theme of your event.
